Poverty reduction and empowerment of rural poor women in the Lalmonirhat district funded by Bridge of Light, Germany

Project Objective

The objective of this project are to livelihood development through employment creation and reduces gender inequality

: 2 Years (November’17 to October’2019)

This project is implementing place in 3 unions under Sadar Upazila (sub-district) of Lalmonirhut district namely Sukandigi village of Kulaghat union, Hudorbazar & Maraghat village of Rajpur union and Bowalmari char(island of Tista ) village of Khuniyagach union. TARANGO has selected 800 women families as direct beneficiaries. The indirect beneficiaries of this project are their family members, which number 4,400 women, children, and men.
