Story of Beli

My name is Beli and I am touched as I have got the opportunity to share my tragic life in presence of HE and other high dignitaries.

I was born in a poor family. I could not go to school because of poor economic condition of my parents. When I have been grown up, I came to Dhaka and got a job in the Garments Industry. After few years, I got married and gave birth a baby girl.  Then I had to leave my job at the Garments Industry.

My sufferings stated after the birth of my child. After few months of the birth of the baby, my husband disappeared without informing me anything. I tried to find him with my best effort but it went in vain.

During that time, I got information about TARANGO. Listening my story, TARANGO gave me shelter. Again I got job at the Garments industry. I passed my days peacefully keeping my daughter at the shelter home of TARANGO.

But I made a mistake and for that my life has become miserable. I don’t know from where my husband came again to me and requested me to live with him. He promised me that he will never leave me alone. I trusted him and gave my full salary to him but my husband did not keep his words. I became pregnant again and then he disappeared again.

I gave birth to a baby boy. Now I have only darkness all around.

TARANGO is still with me though I made a big mistake.
